Digital World of Dinosaurs
Today's we are going to talk about the digital world of Dinosaurs. I have 2 recommendations , one for ages 3-5 and the other for 5+.
For ages 2.5/3 to 5, fun play and learn songs about Dinosaur and different species , a sure hit with kids is the PINKFONG App called Dino World. I paid $12 for the full app a few years back, and the purchase is well justified. The songs are catchy and simple to learn the known species, and there are some fun games which kids really love.
Now, this one is very exciting, not only for my 5.5 year old kids, but for us adults too. Once the kids have a little know-how about the dinosaurs and are ready for a fun learning series, then this Dino-Fiction series is for all you Dinosaur fans. You learn 2 to 3 Dino species in each episode. Its an Amazon Prime Series called Dino Dana. The story revolves round the protagonist Dana who gets this book of Dino's and the Dino's come to life in her daily experiences. We are a fan, if you follow it or if you start now, do let us know your feedback.
Disclaimer:This is a new thread kick-off to share the world of digital learning as we explore at our house. Digital recommendations may include good/clean TV time for kids, learning apps and similar information. This thread is not propagating media usage or an advisory board for how much media should be consumed by children - those are best answered by your pediatricians or your specific situation.
At our house we allow media consumption in moderation - we call it "Triple M" - Monitored Media Minutes - we moderate time and content access, and its allowed in restricted and moderated ways to take the vantage points of the digital age and keeping a level of exposure just like all other learning concepts. .
