World Book Day! April 23rd, 2018

We have many favorites over the years, but here are the 5 blockbusters this year with my 5 year olds -

1. This is a Ball - Beck and Matt Stanton ... A crazy fun reverse psychology book - a must try for all.

2. Tree - Britta Teckentrup The change of seasons beautifully illustrated in this book

3. The Pirate Jamboree - Mark Teague A pirate themed pretend play book - only in the end you find out that it was a playdate when Mommy says its clean up time!

4. Llama Llama and the bully goat - Anna Dwedney We love the Llama Llama series for all the behavioral issues it tackles for the kids. As my kids get ready for kindergarten this is a fun way to introduce the concept of bullying , you should not be one, and how to handle one!

5. Dont Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus - Mo Willems This continues to be on the top charts in our house for a while now. An interactive book, where the kids have to keep a watch on the pigeon, and be able to say NO in spite of all the negotiations, and in turn help kids understand that as Grown ups we will also say "No" to many things and that's ok!

Happy Reading !
